A Photograph: Its Story

The Kiss of Life by Rocco Morabito

Hi guys, now I will write about my prefer photography.

When the people ask me about one photograph that I like, I always think in “The Kiss of Life” taken by Rocco Morabito in 1967.

In this photograph appear two electric worker hanging at twelve meters in the electric lines,
and one worker makes resuscitation to his electrocuted companion that received a dischargeof more than 4000 volts. Personally, I think that this picture is memorable in history of photography, I remember when I was a child I saw in a magazine this photograph but I did not know his story, now I think that is a photo success or a lucky break, I’m sure that Rocco has not had another chancelike this. 

Rocco Morabito wins a Pulitzer of Photography Award in 1968 for “The Kiss of life” and the picture was published in newspapers around the all world.

My Favorite movie scene

I love watch movies, I consider myself a fan of cinema, every week I see one or two movies and a chapter of a TV serie, and I always go to the cinema with my brothers or my boyfriend.

Is too difficult to me choose a only one movie scene because I have a lot of favorite movies,  but I prefer the science-fiction movies like Star Trek or Star Wars, and the super hero movies, for example all the avengers, the X-Men, and mostly Marvel movies . I love go to the Avant premier of Marvel movies with popcorns, coke and my brother.

Well, I think that my favorite movie scene is “I’m your father” on Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back , when Darth Vader tells to Anakin Skywalker that he is her father. In my opinion is the best final movie ever! So Unexpected!!!Escene Link HERE!!

MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

Hi everybody!  thank you for your comments in my last post!

My favorite piece of technology is my cell phone, a Sony Xperia X3, because I can do a lot of things with this device.  For example: Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, send mails, take pictures, watch movies and more!

When I was 8, I got my first cell phone to call my dad when I finished school, but now I use my favorite technology thing all day and all night. I can’t live without my telephone and without mobile internet , it’s like I were disconnected of the world.

Personally, I think the mobile phone is a very important implement in the life of people because  it helps us to connect with our family and friends, we can call or chat, also we can use it at work or to play when we go home after the class.

Why I choose study journalism?

Hi everybody! how are you? Thanks for reading my first post and comment this! Today I will write in respect of “Why I choose study journalism?” I chose to study the Journalism Programme because I have always been interested in the news.  When I was a child, I was reading the newspaper with my dad every Sundays, and we saw together the news on TV at lunch.

Additionally, I love telling stories,meeting people, 

writing anything and reading about current issues to learn more about different topics. 

I like reading books too; one of my favorite literary genre is the Nonfiction Novel, with books like “In cold blood” by Truman Capote.

Personally, to choose my study programme was easy, I never was good at Maths and my parents are so happy with my decision.

My auto Biography

Who am I?

Hi bloggers! Welcome to my blog. I’m so excited about this.  But first of all I will talk about who I am.

I was born on October 21st, 1996 in Hospital of Talca (probably I’m not daughter of my parents). Talca is the regional capital of the seventh region of Maule and it is known for its hotdogs and “Las Viejas Cochinas” a popular local restaurant.

I am the youngest of the family. My parents are old and I have a brother and a sister, Nicolas is 32 years old and Francisca is 30 years old. While, I’m in the flower of the youthfulness, because I’m 19.

Now I live in Maipú and I’m a journalism student at the Institute of Communication and Image at University of Chile. This makes me so happy.
In my free time I watch movies and series. My favorite movie is Inception by Christopher Nolan, and my favorite serie is Game Of Thrones, i think that is the best TV creation of the world. OMG I Love Game of Thrones.
